Well, the king of survival shooters is back, and trust me – it's been worth the wait!
As someone who's followed this genre, I can tell you that the atmosphere in STALKER 2 is absolutely haunting. Picture this: you're creeping through the Zone at night, surrounded by the bone-chilling shrieks of mutants, where every step could be your last. It's not just a game; it's a masterclass in tension.
Let me share something that made me laugh (and curse) – my first encounter with a bloodsucker. He killed me three times before I managed to take him down! 😅 And if you think the old poltergeists were a pain, wait until you see their new tricks. The enemy AI is something else – these guys aren't just bullet sponges. They'll flank you, spam grenades, and turn every firefight into a deadly puzzle that needs solving.
Two hours in, and I haven't spotted any of those infamous launch bugs everyone fears. Sure, I've had some minor FPS drops, but nothing game-breaking. I'm running it on a MacBook via GeForce Now Ultimate with epic graphics settings, and it runs smooth as butter.
The story? It's grabbed me right from the start, and I have a feeling we've only scratched the surface. I'll keep updating this review as I dive deeper into the Zone. And don't forget to share yours!
For now, all I can say is – see you in the Zone, stalker. Have a good hunt!
