Moush South of Midnight Review

Awed by the art direction and the music that captures the essence and beauty of the deep south, this is a game I’d recommend to anyone who likes narrative adventures like me. My only gripe has to do with the combat arena design that feels way too repetitive and gets in the way of what is an immensely beautiful game otherwise. At moments I’d just pause and take in the magnificent scenery (I don’t think I have ever captured as many screenshots). The extraordinarily magical soundtrack is something that I have never experienced in any other game, so much so that I was thinking about it even after rolling credits (I have now added the album to my playlist and am listening to it on repeat). Voice acting and writing is also just top notch. All in all, I think it’s definitely a game to play, just to experience the story, the characters and the setting.
