NasCher Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Review

Somehow, I must say it felt like a step in the wrong direction after the first installment. Many aspects of the first were still kept, which personally makes the game still highly enjoyable for me. The biggest issue for me has to be the pacing and all kinds of pointless content that was just thrown into the game. It almost felt like bigger = more content like those you find mobile games. While some mini games were indeed fun, most of them were just pointless, especially some of the sidequests that just gets you to traverse to some place without any specific reason. This game, for me was a classic case of 'less is more'. Even the story felt like there is just too much and becoming overly convulted even for a FFVII fan like me. Overall still good, but hope they improve for the last installment. Really really really want the last one to be good.
