Zenless Zone Zero just got even more beautiful thanks to the addition of ray tracing, but it's only available on the PlayStation version for now. Ray tracing is a lighting technique in games that mimics realistic lighting effects by simulating how real light interacts with 3D objects in the environment. With ray tracing added to ZZZ, the game's environments and characters now look more alive and immersive.

The effects of ray tracing in the game were shown off on the Zenless Zone Zero YouTube channel in a special short video introducing the addition. The trailer for ray tracing shows various ZZZ characters walking through several locations, highlighting the difference between the scenarios before and after ray tracing was introduced. The new feature is implemented now on all PlayStation copies of Zenless Zone Zero.

The locations shown in the video are brought to life with dynamic lighting, upgrading everything from puddles of water, neon signs, and sunsets down to shiny toilets.
