Warcraft Rumble Quietly Buffs One of the Worst Minis In the Game

Warcraft Rumble recently stealth-buffed the Mountaineer, with the mini now costing less to deploy, gaining the Taunt talent ability at baseline, and the Dwarf having slightly more health. Previously considered to be one of the worst units in the game, this big improvement to the Mountaineer is live in Warcraft Rumble right now.

With over 60 minis and counting, Warcraft Rumble has no shortage of powerful units which are used in many armies, such as Harpies, Quilboar, and the Huntress. However, some minis leave much to be desired, such as the Mountaineer, a pair of units including a Dwarven rifleman and his trusty bear companion.

Warcraft Rumble is officially out on PC, and to celebrate, players can unlock some in-game loot by watching streamers on Twitch.

In an attempt to make the Mountaineer a better mini, Blizzard recently buffed the dynamic duo, though it made no mention of it in any patch notes outside the Warcraft Rumble Discord. As of the update, Mountaineer costs one less gold to deploy, and the Dwarf’s health has been slightly increased.
