Even though there's not going to be a new Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer before the end of 2024, Rockstar has a different kind of surprise in store: a higher-quality version of the original trailer, released on Chinese social media site BiliBili today. The new trailer is viewable via MP1st, and while it's not noticeably different in terms of content, the higher-definition upload, free of YouTube's characteristic video compression, has revealed new details about the characters and world of the game that weren't noticeable in the original version.
This comes amid rumors of a new GTA 6 trailer being released before the end of 2024, perhaps to coincide with the anniversary of the original trailer's release. While that doesn't look likely, given that today is the last day of the year and there's been no word from Rockstar on the subject, that doesn't mean there's no GTA 6 news to discuss. From the bumper stickers on Jason's car to the acne scars on Lucia's head, players have already dissected every detail contained in the updated trailer.
