It’s hard to believe that Elden Ring: Nightreign was only announced a little less than a month ago, with how much excitement it’s already been able to build. And now, we know that some people will get to play it soon, in just a bit over the month. Provided they own a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, sign up for the network test here before January 20th, and are selected to partake in it. Players who are selected to partake will be able to hop on and try out Elden Ring: Nightreign over the course of several sessions between February 14th and February 16th. This network test, as described on Bandai Namco’s site, is a “preliminary verification test in which the selected testers play a portion of the game prior to the full game launch.” Put more simply: this is a chance both for some people to get a small taste of the game early, in exchange for stress testing the game’s servers, mechanics, and stability so that From Software can see what issues they still need to fix. It’s a good deal for everyone....
