EA Sports UFC 5 developer EA Vancouver confirms a new update will be released on January 30, adding UFC Flyweight Asu Almabayev to the game's roster. The new EA Sports UFC 5 update will be available to download on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S after some short server downtime, with a handful of new bug fixes also included in the patch as well as some fresh alter egos for players to get their hands on from next week.
The latest entry in EA's mixed martial arts fighting game was released back in 2023, which means patch updates and general support for the title is now beginning to slow down. There are currently rumors circulating that EA Vancouver is now hard at work on EA Sports UFC 6, with the studio reportedly aiming for a full release later this year. While these rumors have yet to be verified, EA Vancouver is still continuing to release occasional updates for EA Sports UFC 5, with the latest patch once again adding a new fighter for players to use.
