The New Path of Exile Update Is Delayed Again Due to the Sequel

Grinding Gear Games has been forced to indefinitely delay an update for the first Path of Exile as they need the entire studio focused on resolving issues with the sequel. Path Of Exile: The Challenges of Handling Two Major Projects Managing the development of two live-service games like Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2 simultaneously is no easy task, as Grinding Gear Games is learning the hard way. The studio has had to put an update for the original game on hold due to emerging priorities with its sequel. To provide some context, Path of Exile is a free-to-play action RPG in the style of Diablo that has been running for over a decade.
