This corroborates ongoing rumors surrounding an FF9 remake, appearing to confirm, despite Square's recent silence, that something of the sort is still in the works. As a rumor mill, Nate has a pretty good track record; he most recently predicted the Switch 2's reveal on January 16, which turned out to be true.
