Some Atlus fans have recently taken note of one Persona 4 vocalist, whose social media activity has sparked speculation that a remake of the iconic JRPG is in the works. While this idea has already gained quite a bit of online momentum, the underlying evidence pointing to a Persona 4 remake is circumstantial, at best.
July 10 will mark the 17th anniversary of the fourth numbered Persona game's PS2 release. Its immediate predecessor was also 17 years old when it received a remake in the form of Persona 3 Reload, which debuted back in February 2024. That's not to say that a Persona 4 remake is expected to materialize in the immediate future, but there's been some chatter about Atlus possibly pursuing such a project as of late.
