Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming responded to a post on X to claim that a Black Flag remake (codenamed Obsidian) and an Assassin's Creed multiplayer game (codenamed Invictus), would launch on the Animus Hub (formerly announced as Infinity) before the release of the franchise's next big installment, codenamed Hexe. This information comes as Ubisoft reports record player numbers and immensely positive fan feedback on Assassin's Creed Shadows. Henderson also said he "wouldn't be surprised" if Hexe released in 2027, mostly due to the delays for Shadows. Again, none of this information is official, with Henderson himself saying he was "spitballing."
