Today, 2K and developer Hangar 13 have released not one, but two trailers for the upcoming Mafia: The Old Country. One trailer, titled "Breaking Omerta", provides developer insights to the game, while the other, "Whatever if Takes", is gameplay tailer that is captured in-engine. Mafia: The Old Country will be running on the Unreal Engine 5, as Hangar 13 brings in a plethora of experience to a series that dates back over twenty years.
Whatever it Takes to Make Mafia: The Old Country Feel Like it
The gameplay trailer shows off a number of gameplay elements for players to enjoy. While these games have traditionally taken place in a city, The Old Country will be more akin to Red Dead Redemption with its environment. The gameplay seems to be much more grounded and include stealth elements. You will be able to drive proper-era cars, shoot proper-era guns and ride horses. One could say this looks like the Italian Red Dead Redemption.
