Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 publisher Activision has confirmed that the next entry in the series will not have wall-running or jetpacks, despite previous leaks and rumors claiming otherwise. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was revealed to the world earlier this month during the Xbox Games Showcase, and while the cinematic trailer didn't give fans any information on the shooter's Multiplayer, Activision has now revealed some interesting new pieces of information surrounding the game's upgraded movement system.

With the next Call of Duty game set to launch later this year, marketing for Black Ops 7 has officially begun. The shooter received its very first cinematic trailer on June 8, revealing the return of David Mason and Raul Menendez, while also confirming previous leaks that Black Ops 7 would be a direct sequel to Black Ops 2 set in the year 2035. The release date for the next Call of Duty game is currently unknown, but given the series' usual release schedule, fans can likely expect Black Ops 7 to launch in either late October or early November.
