Stardew Valley has hosted plenty of creative and functional farms across its almost 10-year history, but a new call on Reddit has fans sharing some of the worst and blandest farm designs that players have created. The cozy game by solo developer ConcernedApe has ceased major development, as ConcernedApe focuses on his next project, but Stardew Valley fans are still having fun with the genre-defining title. After so many years of well-made farms in the spotlight, some players want to see the ugly ones.
In a Reddit thread by boldequity, fans are sharing their "ugly farms," and some of them certainly aren't the most aesthetically pleasing. boldquity's post shared their own ugly farm, and it features a random cabin covered by trees, an unused mill, random decor thrown about, and a general sense of randomness, as plots and placements are scattered about.
The farm creations being shared focus more on functionality than beauty. Some fans have tons of locations built and max relationships with the characters, but their farms have been left unattended, like fasttimes511's, who wrote, "just too lazy to work on my farm" and shared a screenshot of their barren landscape. RachelLovesN praised the call...
