Stardew Valley can be a surprisingly detailed pixel game, and there's one instance where spotting just two pixels can make all the difference. When venturing out from the safety of your farm, efficient farming and adventuring depend on quickly identifying and dealing with obstacles, which typically isn't very hard. The exception is rock crabs, which, to the untrained eye, can look indistinguishable from regular rocks.

After playing Stardew Valley for over 1,000 hours, Reddit user jojory42 finally spotted the difference: rock crabs feature two pixels that represent their eyes on the bottom right side. While jojory42 is far from the first to make this particular discovery, they'll likely also be far from the last, and some other players had trouble recognizing the difference even with an example. In the top comment, hi_britty said they "can't even see them in this photo zoomed in," but jojory42 stepped in to provide the more detailed instructions necessary for a eureka moment.
