Ever since Cronos: The New Dawn was announced, I’ve been keeping a close eye on it, waiting, watching, and hoping for more details to emerge. Now, with Bloober Team’s release of the first extended gameplay footage, not only has my interest been piqued even further, but the wait for this game just got a whole lot harder.

Bloober Team, the studio behind Layers of Fear and The Medium, has finally revealed a chilling, yet epic awesome 10-minute look at its upcoming sci-fi horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn. This extended gameplay video gives fans a brutal and unsettling taste of what’s to come, and it’s giving me Dead Space vibes.

Cronos: The New Dawn follows The Traveler, an agent of a dystopian future Collective who travels through time to rescue people doomed to die in an upcoming apocalypse. Guided by the cryptic journal of their predecessor, ND 3500, players will navigate between two timelines: a crumbling future and 1980s Poland. The real-world inspiration, particularly the eerie Nowa Huta district of Kraków, grounds the horror in a disturbingly familiar reality, distorted by brutalist architecture and reality-breaking anomalies.
