New information is coming out about the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A, including an interesting change being made to Mega Evolutions. Pokemon Legends: Z-A is taking fans back to the Kalos region's Lumiose City for the first time since Pokemon X and Y. Mega Evolutions were a big part of Pokemon X and Y's DNA, and so it's really no surprise that the popular battle gimmick is making a comeback for Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

Set to launch on October 16, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is a sequel to Pokemon Legends: Arceus, itself one of the highest-rated Pokemon games in years. Pokemon Legends: Z-A will maintain a lot of the design philosophy that made Arceus such a hit, but it will also be shaking things up with its brand-new setting, battle changes, and new take on Mega Evolutions.
