FREE No Man's Sky Update Adds Huge Ship Class & New Immersive Options

No Man's Sky is planning another massive update, Voyagers, with various new features and improvements included. The procedurally generated open-world game has come a long way since launch: the introduction of Voyagers marks its 6.0 update, following the expansive Worlds Part 2 earlier this year.

Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games, announced today on X (formerly Twitter) that the next major content update for No Man's Sky would be called Voyagers. It introduces a wide variety of new features that we'll dissect below, including a new, fully customizable starship class, a multiplayer crew, spacewalking, skydiving, and more.

The best part? Voyagers launches today as yet another free update for No Man's Sky.

According to Sean Murray and the official No Man's Sky website, here are all the major new features coming in the Voyagers update. The headline, of course, is the new ship type, the Corvette class. This ship is fully customizable inside and out: you can select and attach individual pieces, building it from scratch in a new, more intuitive build mode.
