Brand-new roguelike Megabonk is continuing to blow up on Steam with massive concurrent player counts. Megabonk has taken Steam by storm following its recent launch on September 18.

The Steam page for Megabonk promises a roguelike experience where players can "smash your way through endless waves of enemies and grow absurdly powerful," all tied together with charming retro-style graphics. Visually, Megabonk is a real throwback, while taking inspiration from some of the best modern roguelikes to deliver a fun experience. Clearly, the indie action roguelike is resonating with players on Steam.

The player charts for Megabonk on SteamDB are blowing up right now, with 60,002 concurrent players and rising at the time of writing. It's consistently going up from its all-time peak, so players are hopping on for the weekend to see what all the fuss is about. Word of mouth is excellent, too.
