Following its high-profile launch, Hades 2 gets its first post-launch update, fixing bugs and making tweaks to the gameplay, including adjustments to one of the more controversial boss fights. Similar to its predecessor, Hades 2 spent a good chunk of time in Early access, with Supergiant Games slowly building out its latest title with the help of updates and community feedback.
That level of patience seems to have paid off once again as Hades 2 has already become a huge hit for the studio. Considering how many awards and the overall level of success the first Hades achieved, this news isn't too surprising. However, successfully following up on such a massive hit isn't always easy, and even though Hades 2 isn't yet available on all platforms, the quick start is a great sign.
