Raven Software has admitted that Call of Duty: Warzone's Resurgence experience has become "a bit stale" of late. In response, the developer has promised some important changes to Resurgence in Call of Duty: Warzone.
As Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 approaches its release, some of the community conversation has focused on how it will innovate Call of Duty: Warzone's gameplay. There are many who believe Warzone hasn't changed enough in recent years, leading to something of a downturn for the Battle Royale. And with more competition than ever in the genre, Call of Duty: Warzone needs to be at the top of its game.
Clearly, Raven Software is aware of this. While detailing the changes coming to Call of Duty: Warzone in the coming months, the developer noted that "Rebirth Island and the broader Resurgence experience have started to feel a bit stale." To solve this, it has committed to "a full refresh to Rebirth Islandin Season 02, which includes new POI updates, a cosmetic pass, and several other upgrades that improve flow."
