Battlefield 6 Changes Controversial Skin Following Fan Backlash

Battlefield 6 developer DICE has altered the System Override skin, a cosmetic item that was part of a promotion with tech company Razer, following backlash from the game's community. The change was made as part of the highly anticipated Season 1 update for Battlefield 6, which also brings a plethora of balance adjustments, bug fixes, and new content to the latest entry in the series, including a new Battle Royale mode known as Battlefield REDSEC.

After fans heavily protested the unrealistic cosmetic items and never-ending collaborations in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, DICE reassured fans that it would not be following its competitor's footsteps and that Battlefield 6 would stay true to its grounded, gritty themes.
