Popular Outer Worlds 2 Mod Shows Exactly What Players Want

The Outer Worlds 2 officially releases tomorrow, but some of the first mods are already available thanks to Early Access. Obsidian's follow-up to the 2019 hit sends players on a new adventure through the dangers of space and capitalism. The game is receiving generally positive feedback from early players, but any time PC games fall short, modders are ready to pick up the slack.

Mods have already started to pour out of the community, tweaking everything from companion behavior to camera angles and effects. But one mod in particular has risen to the top with over 9,000 downloads: goldenchrome's More Skill Points per Level on Nexus Mods.

As the name implies, the More Skill Points per Level mod rewards players with more points to put into skills as they progress through the game. The mod gives players the option to set the number of points they want to receive, ranging from 3 to 10 or even a full 20 points per level.
