Final Fantasy 14 will gradually bring back cosmetic rewards from The Feast PVP game mode, which was retired during the Endwalker expansion in favor of Crystalline Conflict. Though The Feast is gone, Final Fantasy 14 director and producer Naoki Yoshida said Square Enix is bringing back some unobtainable prizes in response to player feedback.

The Feast was a team-based arena PVP game mode that was available during the Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers expansions. Matches were decided by the medals each team gained from defeating other players. While the rewards for The Feast were purely cosmetic, some were restricted to the top 100-ranked combatants per data center, making them inaccessible to a majority of Final Fantasy 14 players. The Feast was retired during Endwalker, with Crystalline Conflict taking its place as Final Fantasy 14's preferred small-scale PVP battle mode.

During the conclusion of the 89th Letter from the Producer Live broadcast, Yoshida said (via translation from the r/ffxiv Discord) that Final Fantasy 14 will bring back replicas of The Feast's rewards in response to player feedback.
