New Borderlands 4 Glitch Can Make Your Character Super OP, But You Have to Act Fast

A newly discovered Borderlands 4 glitch can completely break meta builds rather easily, but Gearbox is already aware of it and is working on a fix. It's uncertain what the timeline on that fix is, but Borderlands 4 fans will want to be mindful of the typical Thursday patch notes while using the glitch.

Shared by content creator JoltzDude139 and first reported by GamesRadar, the end result is essentially duplicating skill points to the point that players can unlock all the skills they want. While there are plenty of OP builds in Borderlands 4, it's very clear that this one would break the balance of the game quickly.

As JoltzDude139 explains, the glitch requires players to invest a certain number of skill points into any ability, have only one skill point remaining, and ensure that all abilities are not maxed out (being two points short). Once players have an ability they want, they go back to an earlier skill (with the one point) and dump the remaining skill points into the said ability. Then, they click 'undo' to reverse the process. What happens here is that instead of reimbursing the single skill in the ability, the function returns two....
