Battlefield 6 developer DICE has made a highly requested change to Conquest, increasing the ticket count on all maps from 1,000 to 1,200 as part of a new backend update that is live on all platforms right now. DICE says it has been closely reviewing feedback from the Battlefield 6 community since the game's launch in October, while also evaluating win rates, objective play, and more. As a result, the studio has now opted to tweak Conquest with more changes, this time in an attempt to maintain match length and ensure the focus remains on objective play.
The latest entry in the Battlefield series has received rave reviews from both players and critics, but a large portion of the community has been unhappy with certain parts of the game. Die-hard veterans of the franchise believe Battlefield 6 is trying too hard to appeal to the Call of Duty community, with smaller maps, faster movement, and shorter matches. Back in October, just days after its launch, the studio lowered the ticket count for Battlefield 6's Conquest game mode, meaning matches would be much shorter. This led to tons of backlash, resulting in the change being reverted.
