Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 developer Treyarch Studios has released a brand-new dev talk video, in which design director Matt Scronce confirmed plans to nerf the Drone Pod Field Upgrade. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launched with 10 Field Upgrades for players to unlock, but the Drone Pod, which is a deployable device that launches aerial drones that seek out enemies and explode, has become a fan-favorite due to its ease of use and overwhelming onslaught of drones.
Treyarch Studios has been committed to implementing as much player feedback as possible, both in the build-up to release and post-launch, and its latest set of changes has now been revealed. On November 20, less than one week after the shooter's release, Matt Scronce touched upon plenty of adjustments coming ahead of Season 1, including a slight buff to Black Ops 7's Aim Assist. The gameplay system has been a huge talking point among players following its substantial nerf between Beta and full release, and while the studio says it's generally happy with where things are at right now, it will be buffing the Aim Assist at long range.
