Bloodborne fans high on hopium were once again disappointed by no new announcements at this year's The Game Awards, despite there barely being a snowball's chance in hell of a sequel or remake even being mentioned. Bloodborne was released over 10 years ago now, but the game still has an incredibly active community, largely thanks to PC mods.

One such mod from johnnycoax (via Nexus Mods) introduces a major, stunning graphic update to the game's skyboxes and clouds, giving players a brand-new, more modernized atmosphere as they travel through Yharnam. The "Upscaled Skybox and Clouds" mod is one of several Bloodborne mods focused on modernizing the visual experience on PC, and recently received a new update with even higher-quality improvements.

Bloodborne is hands-down one of the most popular FromSoftware games ever released, and it's never looked better thanks to a series of community mods such as johnnycoax's mod. The mod dramatically improves the textures you see in the sky so they aren't so dated and pixelated, and it "attempts to remove the nasty looking compression grainyness thats especially noticeable during the daytime areas."
