The Skyrim modding community has more or less kept the game alive, providing players essential new content to keep them busy while they wait for TES6.

Fans will definitely want to check out this brand-new Skyrim mod, The Heart of Winterroot (via Nexus Mods), that adds a "fully voiced" questline "featuring new dungeons, characters, and a nature-driven story." Players can now accompany Larethil Sablewind—a wood elf in search of "three corrupted Seedstones"—on a mission to restore the Winterroot Tree.
