GRYPHLINE has released Arknights: Endfield today on PlayStation 5, PC and mobile devices. The RPG is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases and is the next entry in the franchise's universe following the ongoing mobile title Arknights.
A Mobile Franchise Expanding Over More Systems
The Arknights franchise started with a mobile title released in China in 2019. The homonomous gacha game, which mixes tower defense combat with RPG elements, is still ongoing and is available globally for players using Android and iOS devices. The series would later receive anime adaptations, with three seasons available as of January 2026.
Currently with over 100 million downloads, the series now expands beyond mobile for the first time with Arknights: Endfield. The new entry is a fully 3D action RPG in which the player will get to explore various areas of Talos-II as well as manage the AIC Factory there, taking into account the automation of processes.
