Devolver Digital, the publisher of the 2022 indie hit Cult of the Lamb, has revealed more information about the game's upcoming Unholy Alliance update, which will add local co-op to the title. This update for Cult of the Lamb goes live on August 12 and will be free to all players.
Developed by the independent studio Massive Monster, Cult of the Lamb is a top-down roguelite that is considered by many to be one of the best indie action adventure games on the market. The title has received plenty of new content following its launch thanks to a steady stream of free updates, with Massive Monster announcing in June that the next major patch, Unholy Alliance, would finally add a long-requested feature to Cult of the Lamb: local cooperative play. With Unholy Alliance just around the corner, the game's publisher has revealed more about what players can expect next month.
