Street Fighter 6 producer Shuhei Matsumoto expressed his desire to add more guest fighters to the game, following the addition of Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui as DLC characters for the game's Year 2 pass. Street Fighter 6's roster has been steadily growing with veterans and newcomers alike, making a total of 18 characters following the Year 1 Character Pass. The Year 2 pass is looking to be one of the most anticipated DLCs for the game, as it features a returning M. Previous guest fighters in Street Fighter are usually characters from other Capcom franchises like Final Fight. With Mai and Terry's inclusion in Street Fighter 6, the road has opened for more potential guest spots, which producer Shuhei Matsumoto hopes can come about after the two characters are added.
