An extremely talented cosplayer has brought Ganondorf, the main antagonist of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the Legend of Zelda series in general, to life with impressive detail. Ganondorf is a powerful Gerudo warlock - who is also known as "the Evil King" or "King of the Gerudo" - who has long opposed Link and Princess Zelda in both his more human form, and his more animalistic, boar-like form known as Ganon. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild introduced full voice acting to the franchise, but while that game featured Ganon, the arrival of the Ganondorf form in Tears of the Kingdom saw Matthew Mercer delivering a chilling performance as the foe.
Redditor jeanslagoon shared several images of their incredibly detailed Ganondorf cosplay to the r/Zelda subreddit after donning it at the recent Anime Expo event held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The cosplay featured an incredibly detailed outfit consisting of Ganondorf's robes, Sayas for his swords, and what appears to be full-body makeup, which must have taken an impressive amount of time to apply on the day to portray the character's green skin.
