Cross-platform play between consoles and PC will not come to the extraction shooter Arena Breakout: Infinite. The Unreal Engine 4-powered title, which received a new trailer at Gamescom, is scheduled to fully launch at the end of 2024.

Considered by many to be a great entry point into the crowded extraction shooter genre, Arena Breakout: Infinite is an upcoming tactical FPS developed by Tencent Games subsidiary MoreFun Studios. The title entered early access on August 13, giving the public an opportunity to freely try out what some view as a potential rival to Battlestate Games’ popular Escape from Tarkov. Unlike the title it is often compared with, Arena Breakout: Infinite is set to receive console versions, but it has been revealed that people will be unable to play with folks on different platforms.
