PS Plus Sneakily Confirms More Games Leaving In September

Sony has updated the PlayStation Plus catalog with four more games slated to leave the service in September 2024. Every month, Sony adds and removes games from its games catalog, which currently has an impressive collection of over 400 titles. These games are playable for no additional charge for all PS Plus Premium and Extra subscribers.

The games being removed from PS Plus, spotted by Reddit user ConnectionWorried544, are Unpacking, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Planet Coaster: Console Edition. The titles appeared on the PS Plus "Last Chance to Play" section without any warning from Sony.

All four games will no longer be available for subscribers to play by September 17. The titles join 11 other games leaving the PS Plus Games Catalog this month.

Sony often lists games to be removed throughout the month, drawing ire from fans. The sudden removal of games doesn't give fans enough time to actually play them, and many players wish Sony would announce all the departing games in one batch at least a month or two in advance. Others accuse Sony of removing games with little to no warning, then putting those games on sale the following month....
