Some Pokemon GO players have recently taken to social media to voice their displeasure with the ongoing Legendary Heroes event. Specifically, their grievances are aimed at some of the Pokemon GO trading challenges that are part of the promotion.

The Legendary Heroes event kicked off in Pokemon GO on Thursday, September 26. Completing it requires players to pick one of two paths themed after Pokemon Sword and Shield. Each comes with its own collection of catch and trade challenges.

A Pokemon GO bug prevents users from catching one of the rarest Pokemon in the game and fans are hoping that it will be addressed in the next update.

A vocal section of the game's fandom has now taken issue with the latter, arguing that Niantic's events are placing too much emphasis on trading. "They've been requiring trades more often," wrote Reddit user SpazsAvatar in a recent post, asking the developer to "please stop doing this." The fan has specifically taken aim at the Shield Path Trade Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO, which requires players to obtain Swirlix, Gothita, Seedot, and Scraggy through trading with others.
