A reputable insider claims that Guerrilla Games may release the long-rumored Horizon multiplayer project before the third mainline entry in the series. If this report holds true, fans looking forward to a Horizon Forbidden West successor may have an even longer wait ahead of them.
Guerrilla Games is currently stewarding a whopping 16 Horizon projects, which includes cross-media adaptations. Some fans have even cleverly deciphered some of these projects, such as a Horizon live-service multiplayer game, MMO, TV adaptation, Forbidden West sequel, Zero Dawn remaster, and, of course, the upcoming LEGO Horizon Adventures. Most of these projects are being handled by external studios, with Guerrilla supervising the process.
Some newly surfaced evidence suggests that Guerrilla's Horizon multiplayer spin-off won't hit the market before the PlayStation 6 does.
