Often considered to be one of the greatest in the series, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is heavily rumored to be receiving the remake treatment, with an industry insider claiming to have already seen work-in-progress gameplay.
The next Assassin's Creed game was supposed to be hitting PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on November 15, but Ubisoft delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows back in September, with the series' first highly-anticipated venture into feudal Japan now targeting a February 14, 2025 release date. Unfortunately, as disappointing as Shadow's delay is, there could be more bad news as an insider claims that this decision has affected the entire pipeline of new Assassin's Creed games.
