Dead by Daylight has received a small, mid-chapter patch. This patch makes some adjustments to various perks and add-ons for both Killers and Survivors, as well as changes to Dead by Daylight's "Mori" mechanic that attempts to make it more enjoyable for both sides.
These past few months, Dead by Daylight has been basking in the popularity of its recent Castlevania crossover. In addition, players have been able to enjoy a wide variety of limited-time game modes, with the favorites of these frequently returning to Dead by Daylight for fans to partake in. The most recent of these, Chaos Shuffle, ended just recently and was lauded by many fans of the game for being an enjoyable shake-up to the core gameplay loop. By randomizing the perk loadout of every player before each match, Chaos Shuffle forced gamers to experiment with new playstyles, and killed the concept of a "meta" build, as there was no way to predict what perks each player would get.
Surviving against the true horrors of Halloween can be made even more fun when bringing along a party of friends for the spooky ride.
