The Nintendo Switch may still largely be associated with family-friendly gaming, but players eager for something a little more intense should mark their calendars for the end of October. While the Joy-Cons may not be the best fit for shooters, titles like Doom: Eternal and Splatoon 3 have adequately demonstrated that anything is possible with some decent optimization options. Having said that, the market for FPS games on Nintendo Switch is still fairly scarce, making GSC Game World's decision to port the entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise a win for fans.
Per a trailer posted to YouTube, GSC Game World confirmed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone, which bundles together S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chornobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 31.
Players interested in getting into the franchise can either purchase the entire package for $39.99 or pick up the individual games for $19.99 each. It may not be the kind of franchise Nintendo Switch players have been begging to see but it's still great to see it available for a wider audience.
