New World: Aeternum Update Patch Notes Revealed

One day before the launch of New World: Aeternum, Amazon Games released the full patch notes for the Season of Opportunity update. Among the changes coming to New World: Aeternum are PVP targeting and matchmaking improvements, a 10-player raid, and numerous PVE and PVP content bug fixes.

Originally released in 2021 as a PC-exclusive MMORPG, New World takes place in a fictitious version of the 17th-century Americas, during the Age of Exploration. As players explore the vast wilds of the eponymous island of Aeternum, a mysterious substance called Azoth becomes a sought-after resource by different factions and monsters. Two years after its release, New World released its first expansion, Rise of the Angry Earth, which raised the level cap to 65 and added MMO staples such as mounts, flail weapons, and Artifact gear. New World and its DLC have Mixed to Mostly Positive reviews on Steam at the time of writing.

If Amazon wants to ensure New World: Aeternum's success, then it needs to avoid the many mistakes Blizzard made with Overwatch 2.
