Fortnite is making a big shift in how XP is earned across all its passes. This change will allow players to enjoy the game with more freedom than previously since they'll no longer need to play specific modes to gain XP in them.
According to the Fortnite website, the new system will have players gaining XP for all passes at the same time on a single track, no matter what type of experience they participate in. The Music Pass (previously called the Festival Pass) will make this change on November 2, with the Fortnite Festival Season 6. The LEGO Pass will follow suit on December 1, with changes applied to the Brick or Treat LEGO Pass. The website states that "by December 1, all passes in Fortnite will progress simultaneously by earning XP from playing any experience."
