Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is currently dominating the charts but there's about to be an influx of franchise veterans as one of the series' most beloved maps is making a comeback very soon. The new maps included in Black Ops 6 have proven divisive amongst the community, as a recurring complaint is that many incorporate the "three-lane" format too heavily, resulting in formulaic gameplay. Whether or not one agrees with that theory, the smaller maps have already gained quite a passionate following, so it makes sense that Nuketown is back.
Announced with a trailer on YouTube, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 confirmed that Nuketown is being added to the game's roster of multiplayer maps on November 1 which, at the time of writing, is just a day away.
The actual map itself looks largely identical to how it first appeared in the original Black Ops but has the benefit of a fresh coat of paint to make its distinctive look stand out even more. With the added omnidirectional movement mechanic, fans are undoubtedly excited to see just how chaotic Nuketown can be.
