State of Decay developer Undead Labs has unveiled a fresh logo and website to reflect the start of a new era. The third entry in the series still doesn't have a release date, but it may mark the beginning of a different path for the studio. Undead Labs' refreshed branding is noticeably less zombie-centric than its previous iteration.
The news follows at the tail of the final patch for State of Decay 2 as the team focuses on the next installment. While some fans may have expected all following updates to focus on the upcoming third game, Undead Labs treated them to a fresh look at the studio itself instead.
State of Decay 3 has an opportunity to do something State of Decay 2 was unable to accomplish at launch, and it needs to lunge at that opportunity.
