On December 17, Final Fantasy 14 released Patch 7.15, introducing the next chapter of the Hildibrand quest series and some PVP Job changes to the critically acclaimed MMORPG. The new Final Fantasy 14 content update also brought new content for crafters and gatherers to participate in, and fixed some outstanding bugs and issues.
Patch 7.15 is the game's last update of the year, as it caps off a busy, change-filled 2024 for Final Fantasy 14. Between the launch of the Dawntrail expansion and the game's first major graphical overhaul since A Realm Reborn, Final Fantasy 14 players have had no shortage of content to participate in throughout 2024. Patch 7.15 is the game's third patch since November, which saw the release of the 7.1 Crossroads update. Patch 7.1 introduced the Echoes of Vana'diel alliance raid series, continued the main story of Dawntrail, and made improvements to the glamour and interior housing systems.
