NobleGamer Dome Keeper Review
Jun 12, 2025
I recommend this game to people who like roguelites, mining, and gathering occasional new gadgets & upgrades. Gamers who don't appreciate roguelites should not get this game unless they really love the digging and combat.
Here is what you need to know:
?Pixel art look and the sounds (reminds me of Endless Dungeon) work well together, though the music is nothing stellar.
?The core gameplay of the default mode is: Dig, grab resources/things, use/upgrade things, defend base from each periodic attack wave.
+Progression between runs includes one carryover module, and unlocking a variety of choices: Base, character, gadget, modes.
-Tutorial can only be accessed from the menu.
-Game tends to not explain new things more often than it explaining them. It also doesn't say the names of the resource icons. I don't expect handholding or facilitating min-maxing, but I'm just asking that less things be a total trial & error mystery.
