NobleGamer Slime Rancher Review

Jun 13, 2025
The desire to make your slime farm better and find more slimes is a core gameplay loop that works great for me and oddly addicting, though the game might not be for people who are not at all into collecting creatures. I rarely play or enjoy any kind of farming games, but this is the most enjoyable farming game since the original SimFarm. Here is what you need to know, and the only minor complaints I have are about the map: +Subtle, calming, fun theme on all fronts: Visual, musical, slime mannerisms. ?Finding and feeding the giant (gordo?) slimes are important to exploring the world +Player upgrades are well balanced, as none seem less inherently important than the others, though some are better for certain strategies. ?Adventure mode is easy to play, and reasonably challenging to master. -Gadgets can be built in most areas, not just your farm areas with pens. I don't remember the areas for gadgets being mentioned. -If you discover a gordo slime, you must feed them at least one food for them to show on your map -Only one way teleporters to the home farm appear on the map. Native two way teleporters (not the unlocked ones) when revealed are not shown on the map. -Strange crystal/diamond could not be mined on many of the 3 major mining biomes. May be possible in glass desert, but I didnt get it there either.
