NobleGamer Two Point Hospital Review
Jun 13, 2025
I recommend this to people who enjoy sim management games and would enjoy some silly puns & lighthearted humor.
Here is what you need to know:
+Decent modern visuals and soundtrack.
-Sound effects could be more varied.
+The game (so far) consists of a variety of hospital locations that you build from scratch. Each location gives you one or a few new game mechanics or rooms. It does a great job serving as an on the fly tutorial.
+The amount of micromanagement required is relatively little, but you can do it if needed.
?Examples of things I would occasionally micromange though I didnt have to: Checking for low health patients so I can move them to the front of any queues, checking for staff that had low happiness & low energy so I can force them to take a break, and setting which duties specific staff should do instead of all duties by default.
-A few management controls could have been automated better, such as automatically preventing staff from doing certain treatments unless they have a certain rating or skill. It does allow for automating the diagnosis threshold before treatment, not requiring GP to be final sign-off on all treatment, auto promote staff.
+The game is rewarding with what you build and the goals you reach for each location.
-If the goals and the new rooms & such aren't rewarding for you, then building more rooms can wear thin after a while.
