I’ve been playing this game for 4 years already, and honestly, if things keep going like this, the game won’t last much longer. It feels completely dead. You log into a new version, experience the “new” content, and after that you’re left with an entire month of a dead game.
New maps every 3 or 4 months in an open-world game is ridiculous. Exploration feels extremely uncomfortable, and on top of that, they literally sell characters just to make exploration feel less annoying. It’s disgusting.
The lack of a skip button is unbelievable. There are missions that last 4 hours, and most of them are just filler. Characters during quests barely move, sometimes they don’t open their mouths while talking, and when they stop talking, suddenly their mouths move. It looks cheap and outdated.
The endgame content only exists to sell the current featured character. Didn’t pull them? Too bad, you’re screwed.
And let’s talk about rewards. They only give around 60–70 pulls per version when a character can take up to 180 wishes to guarantee. That means you need to save for almost 4 entire versions just to get ONE character. It’s embarrassing.
Some characters feel completely empty and uninspired. What finally pushed me to write all of this was Nicole. Columbina at least didn’t seem that bad to me, but Nicole genuinely felt like an insult to the entire community. And the worst part is that 99% of the NPCs are exactly the same: boring, lifeless, and forgettable.
Events are becoming less frequent, repetitive, boring, and now they even time-gate them so you have to wait an entire week before they’re fully available.
Leveling up characters is awful too. The amount of materials required is insane. For example, flowers: you need 160 flowers to fully level a character. If you’re a new player and pull Mavuika, you have to travel all the way across the map just to start farming her materials. Your world only has around 70–80 flowers available, and they take 2 days to respawn. That means you literally need around a WEEK just to max one character.
The game keeps using the same character formula over and over again. Random irrelevant characters appear out of nowhere and are made overpowered just so people pull for them, while highly anticipated characters are intentionally made weak because the developers know people will summon for them anyway.
The artifact system is horribly unfair. Talent and weapon ascension materials are terrible too. They force you to farm on specific days, and if you can’t play that day for any reason, you have to wait 2 more days.
Weekly bosses are another joke. You only get rewards once per boss each week when they could easily make them unlimited while still costing resin — exactly like they did in , a game made by the same company.
And don’t even get me started on the weapon banner. It’s awful. If you only get around 60 pulls per version, then getting a weapon can take 3 entire versions of saving, and the worst part is that the guarantee doesn’t even carry over. Not even that. On top of all of this, the real-money prices are absurd.
There are many more issues, but this is already way too long. I truly love this game, and it genuinely hurts seeing how badly it’s being treated. If I have to write all of this just to hope the game I love improves, then that’s exactly what I’ll do.
